How to remove bars (streak) from the menu (backgound)
« on: September 29, 2015, 04:50:22 am »
How can I remove the terrible horizontal bars running behind the menu while using the dark theme. I saw a video by The Linux Help Guy that a patch was made but I cannot find it again. I just install PM6 and those bars are still there ! They render the text fuzzy like hell.

Hi armageddon51, if you download and install the newest Peppermint Six respin ISO.  The bars shouldn't be there by default  ;).

Hello, rat, I am not sure if I use a older ISO but the streak are there. I do not want to reinstall. I found the file supplied to the Linux Help Guy but I can't get it to work. Is there a theme file somewhere ?
Thanks
