same company makes this USB dongle but only compatible with windows/Mac. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UZRVY12?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER).  No one has apparently installed on linux PC as far as I can see...

can anyone recommend a similar spec USB adapter that is linux compatible?

thanks,

So what are you after ?

Recommendations for a USB wireless adapter known to work in Linux ?
or
Verification that the TP-LINK Archer T2UH AC600 will work in Linux ?

should have made it clear.  Anyone know if T2UH will work in P6?, otherwise recommend one which will work.

If the device:vendor ID string (148f:761a) from here is correct:
https://wikidevi.com/wiki/TP-LINK_Archer_T2UH
the ralink MT7601U driver does NOT contain that string .. so chances are it won't work

this seems to have a million and one reviews for running wel in Linux:
http://www.amazon.com/Zibo-Wireless-Adapter-150Mbps-Supports/dp/B00RBBUQLE/ref=sr_1_15?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1442855742&sr=1-15&keywords=wireless+linux+usb

but if you want something with a high gain antenna see here:
http://forum.peppermintos.com/index.php/topic,1430.msg12987.html#msg12987
then search for something with an AR9271 chip:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Atheros+AR9271&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3AAtheros+AR9271
