uefi boot problem P6
« on: September 16, 2015, 07:57:44 am »
I'm trying to install P6 on several Acer Extensa  EX2608 laptops with SSD's for our charity.  I've got the latest 64bit iso which I assume is the one with UEFI support.
Installation goes fine but I'm getting 'no boot media' .
I tried setting BIOS back to legacy & get 'no bootable device'

[edit] - I just found that I had to specify secureboot files in BIOS... I kept hitting [enter] until it found some & added all 3... this seems to have fixed the problem.
Maybe this will help someone else who's as clueless as me!

kind regards

Adrian

Most PC's won't *REQUIRE* Secureboot files to be manually specified .. but there are some weird UEFI implementations out there :-\

Anyway, glad to hear you figured it out.

Oh, and welcome to the forum :)
