Hi marioliveira, welcome to Planet Peppermint  8).  Yeah, we're using the i3lock screenlock.  The circle you are speaking of, is a dual digital/analogue clock.  It's explained in the release notes: Peppermint Six Release Notes.  To unlock the i3lock screenlock, enter your user password.  There's no field to type into.  This is a deliberate security feature.  It does not present anything that invites "idle fingers" to have a go  ::).  As far as the casual observer is concerned, it's just an interesting looking clock ;D.  I hope this explains it  ;).

Years ago I played a bit with Ubuntu, and hat was until now my only contact with linux. This time I had a old laptop my youngest daughter call her own  ::), and I'm finding out Peppermint is great.  See you around

Hi guys,

I read a bit about new screenlock for Peppermint 6, but my problem is that when I close the lid of my laptop - it does not hibernate with password, which is standard on all systems. I checked power options but I am unable to find this.

What element of LXDE is missing ? What should I install to have screen lock when going into standby/hibernation ?
