Noob Question - Install Now Button Grayed out. [SOLVED]
« on: August 11, 2015, 02:42:03 pm »
Sorry for the noobish question. I am very new to all of this.

I am at the stage where you choose the installation type, I have it selected on "Erase disk and install peppermint". Except the install now button is disabled and I can't click it to go onto the next step. Does anyone know why?

I have more than enough space on my hard drive (700gbs) and more than enough RAM (4gbs).

So I have no clue.

Will your system boot to the Live session if you select "Try Peppermint" ?

If so, can you open a terminal and post the output from this command:
Code: [Select]
sudo fdisk -l

Yeah, I eventually figured it out whilst my post was getting reviewed.

Basically, I selected quit, then it automatically went into the live boot so I clicked the shortcut on the desktop to install it.

Thanks for the help though.
