Here's the best solution to any release of Windows.

We could use a "Like" button on replies.  ;)

In lieu of that, I like this.  It's awesome.   :D

Agreed. Any chance of implementing?  :D

And perhaps more emoticons? You can never have enough!  :P

The Linux Action Show guys did a review of Windows 10,

http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/85922/windows-10-vs-linux-las-376/

starts at 47:50, seems a bit of a train wreck and they were trying to be positive about it, and as far as privacy is concerned you can forget it Microsoft wants it all

Graeme

Thank you, emegra,

I'm so glad you posted that link.  I had prepped and had nearly installed Windows 10 in order to check it out.  That link showed me everything I needed to know about Windows 10.  Needless to say I'm so happy I never installed Windows 10 to my computer.

I still believe the concept behind Cortana has promise, but I'm more convinced than ever that no one wants Windows to be the gatekeeper behind a program like that.  Also, I can't believe how overly expansive the new Windows privacy policy is:  Windows is literally watching everything Windows 10 user does, and I mean EVERYTHING!  And, what's worse, the user, or leasee, agrees to this!  :o

Thanks so much, emegra, for posting that link.  I certain that post will save a lot of people a lot of grief in the long run.  ;)

[T]here are a lot of people happily running Peppermint ICE which hasn't been receiving ANY updates for a while now .. and I personally would STILL consider that MUCH more secure than any version of Windows with up-to-date AV/Anti-malware ;)
