I installed P6 to the 4GB internal drive on my eeePC701 and everything, including wifi, worked perfectly but it left very little space for expansion.....so I reinstalled to a second external 16GB SSD.

All went well except the wifi doesn't work and the RTL8187se is not recognised. The only variation I can think of is that I allowed for upgrades in the second install. I used a Unetbootin live USB and the wifi worked OK on that and still does.

I guess I could hope for a better result if I tried to install again but that's a gamble....any other suggestions?

Hi plumtreed,

To find out what such a message might mean, open a terminal and enter (for this example that you posted):

Code: [Select]
man dpkg
then read the output -- in your case you want to read about the "action"

--configure -a

which will tell you what this action does.
