Endless Download. Takes Hours and Hours
« on: July 21, 2015, 06:13:45 pm »
Is the server ok? I've been trying to download 32bit Peppermint 6 for about 8 hours over 2 days.
It's a 650mb download, I have a good broadband connection and other sites work normally.

I had a really slow connection when I downloaded it last month too.  I went the torrent route and had it in a few minutes.  So, I'd suggest doing that.

Hi kirk_dunkirk  As scifidude79 suggests, use the the torrent download.  If you're using Windows, you may have to first download a torrent client.  Once that's done, the ISO will take only a few minutes to download  ;).

Yeah the main server seems a bit weird lately .. sometimes it's really quick, other times it's massively slow .. but the torrents are always quick.
