Where do I access a thumb drive plugged in? [SOLVED]
« on: July 12, 2015, 11:45:29 am »
New stand alone installation.

Want to access a text file on my thumb drive.

I plugged it into the laptop USB port and I cannot find a way
to access it.

It does not show up under Computer in Open Document.

Is there another way to make it show up?

Regards,
David

WOW, another simple and logical solution.

I have to add, it is necessary on my laptop to shut down and restart.

Not sure if that is true every where.

Thanks again.

Now to just remember them all.

It's probably not mounted yet

Open the file manager, and click the thumbdrive in the left hand column to mount it.
