VPN and Remote Desktop (solved)
« on: June 25, 2015, 04:35:11 pm »
Hello again,

New to PM6 but loving it.  Work is expanding my option to telework and I setup VPN and Remote Desktop Client in Win 7. Now, I want to do the same thing in PM.  I was able to find some old instructions they had for setting up the VPN and was able to connect to the network.  However, then it ask me to open the remote desktop client and I can't find that in PM6.  Do we have a default client that's build in the OS?  If not, is there a GUI simple RDC I can use?

Thanks

There is a few RDP clients in th repos nemely grdesktop & Remmina, I set up a RDP connection so my missus can connect to her work office running Windows machines, first i tried grdesktop but had numerous issues with saving login credentials & resolution etc, but Remmina worked perfectly

Good luck

If you can keep your head while all around are losing theirs then you're not quite grasping the situation
