I wouldn't know, I grew up in the '80s and '90s.  However, I think I heard it in a movie, or something.  It may be in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

If anyone agrees with the guy about the stripes in the menu and left panel in nemo (and oddly I do) .. try this:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11876059/Peppermix-Dark_remove-stripes.zip
I assume it's self explanatory where the files go, but if anyone gets stuck .. just ask

I may change this to default in the respin when it comes .. unless people disagree ?

Here it is on my netbook with the stripes removed:-

(click image to enlarge)

Hello. So If I want the striped theme since I have the 09-04-15 version installed on my laptop, how would I get the theme?

Go into this directory
Code: [Select]
gksudo nemo /usr/share/themes/Peppermix-Dark/gtk-3.0/assets
and rename these files:-

contact-stripes.png   -->   stripeless-contact-stripes.png
contact-stripes-9.png   -->   stripeless-contact-stripes-9.png
contact-stripes-10.png   -->   stripeless-contact-stripes-10.png

then rename

old-contact-stripes.png   -->   contact-stripes.png
old-contact-stripes-9.png   -->   contact-stripes-9.png
old-contact-stripes-10.png   -->   contact-stripes-10.png

then go into this directory
Code: [Select]
gksudo nemo /usr/share/themes/Peppermix-Dark/gtk-2.0/images/other
and rename

oriental-4.png   -->   stripeless-oriental-4.png

then

old-oriental-4.png   -->   oriental-4.png

then log off/on.
