P5 DDNS Localhost no connection
« on: April 03, 2015, 11:04:25 pm »
I'm running P5 and trying to get a localhost set up that I can connect to from the web.  I am not being successful.  I have set my IP to be static through the network manager.  I have 2 DDNS accounts set up...one with FreeDNS at afraid.org and one with No-IP.com.  I have a VirginMobile mifi 2200 that I set port forwarding to my IP for FTP and HTTP.  Both my DDNS connectoids do connect with the respective controllers and render an external IP which matches with the IP shown in my mifi settings.  I have tried with Apache as well as QuickWeb and WebWeaver web servers.  I can connect by using http://localhost.  I cannot connect by using my external IP nor with either of the two host names I have set up.  I cannot connect via the computer I have localhost set up on nor from the browser on my cell phone.  I have also attempted to use the XP I have installed in a VirtualBox and have not been able to connect that way either.  What am I missing?

Nevermind...I got it sorted.
