What's the output from:
Code: [Select]
modinfo 8192cu

OK, follow these instructions from your previous topic .. if at any stage they produce an error STOP and tell me which command produced the error, and what the error was.

Make sure you're connected to your router via an ethernet cable...

Open a terminal and run these commands in sequence:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get updatethen
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get upgradethen
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get dist-upgradenow REBOOT

Once rebooted, open a terminal and run:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential git dkmsthen
Code: [Select]
mkdir ~/8192cuthen
Code: [Select]
cd ~/8192cuthen
Code: [Select]
git clone https://github.com/pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes.gitthen
Code: [Select]
sudo dkms add ./rtl8192cu-fixesthen
Code: [Select]
sudo dkms install 8192cu/1.9then
Code: [Select]
sudo depmod -athen
Code: [Select]
sudo cp -v ./rtl8192cu-fixes/blacklist-native-rtl8192.conf /etc/modprobe.d/then REBOOT

Test wireless
