OK, so I copy & pasted that command into a Terminal window.

Now Peppermint boots without showing me a boot menu where I can choose which OS to boot. I was hoping to still have a boot menu, although I am just about finished testing Mint. So it is not a crisis.
Running Peppermint 8- 64 bit on my Lenovo i3 laptop.

Hi 10i, how's it going.   Boot up Peppermint.  Run the following command:
Code: [Select]
sudo update-grub
Let it do its thing, then reboot your machine.  You should now have the Peppermint bootloader menu.  I hope this helps  ;).

Cool,  I know how you were feeling.  I was running Crunchbang alongside Peppermint.  Even though I had dual booted before.  For the life of me I couldn't remember where to put the bootloader and how to update grub.  It was driving me nuts.  It's such a simple thing to do too  ;D.
