Hmm .. had to fix this as they seem to have changed the weather info....

First install conky:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install conkythen download this file:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/conky-companions/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/c/conkyforecast/conkyforecast_2.24_all.deb
and double-click it to install it.

then run these commands in sequence to download and unpack the pre-prepared conky HTC clock that I created for you before:
Code: [Select]
cd ~then
Code: [Select]
wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11876059/Conky-HTC-Updated-Enfield.zipthen
Code: [Select]
unzip Conky-HTC-Updated-Enfield.zipupdate tthe font cache with:
Code: [Select]
sudo fc-cache -fvthen log off/on .. and the clock should autostart after 20 seconds

You can now choose from 2 icon sets.

Default =
(you're only looking at the icons in this pic .. the exact layout is like the next pic)

New look =

To apply the new look, navigate to
Code: [Select]
pcmanfm ~/.Conky/htc_home/accuweatherand rename the
Forecast_Images
folder to
Old-Forecast_Images
then rename
New-Forecast_Images
to
Forecast_Images
then restart conky, or log off/on.

If you need to adjust the screen position, run:
Code: [Select]
gedit ~/Conky/htc_home/conkyrcand adjust the 2 lines:-
Quote
gap_x 40
gap_y 40

FOR OTHER PEOPLE  following this .. to adjust the weather info for your location, go to:
http://www.accuweather.com
and enter your location in the search box .. when it displays a webpage with weather from your locations, copy the WHOLE URL (from the address bar of your browser).

Then in a terminal run:
Code: [Select]
gedit ~/.Conky/htc_home/accuweather/accuw_scriptfind the 2 lines that read:-
Quote
#put your Accuweather address here
address="http://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/enfield-town/en1-1/weather-forecast/323576"
and change that URL for the one you got from the Accuweather website .. then SAVE the file, and reboot.

I had made a minor error in one of the files, I've fixed it above now.

But you might want to run this:
gedit ~/.Conky/htc_home/accuweather/accuw_script
and make sure the address line reads

#put your Accuweather address here
address="http://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/enfield-town/en1-1/weather-forecast/323576"
