Looks good. Any instructions for how to install?

I figured from google searching to use this:

Code: [Select]
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:satyajit-happy/themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install numix-gtk-theme
Then go System Preferences > Look and Feel, where it shows Numix in the 'Widget' option. But I don't see how to install icons as that's not showing in the icon sub-menu?

Thanks if you can provide further info.

Thanks I think I've figured it out now from the Noobslab site. So essentially it's:

Code: [Select]
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons
sudo apt-get update
then

Install Blue Folder Version with this command:

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install ultra-flat-icons
and/or

Install Orange Folder Version with this command:

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install ultra-flat-icons-orange

Then go menu > Preferences > Customize Look & Feel > Icon Theme > Ultra Flat Icons

Real pretty  :D

I've never seen Plank look like that -- ever!  And because of your Peppermint desktop, I've now got a homework assignment for the other Peppermint computer in this house!

That is a work of art, XavyAir .  ;)

yep thats correct and if you want the less bright orange folders theme go to gnome-look.org look up ultra flat icons
and download the link for 'orange folders' thats the less bright one on there the other will be labeled bright orange
than go in your file manager in directory tree click it and navigate to usr > share >icons right click than open as root
and paste in there. (dont use anything else in root only for this it can mess things up) this ensures your icons
will work in your local setting or in root (aka in mint install or package mangers etc) so everything looks consistent.
I persoanlly like the bright orange folders but some prefer the more pale ubuntu type ones.

Thanks I followed those instructions and installed it OK. Link to the orange icons is here.

Decided I prefer the blue but nice to have access to it if I change my mind!  :P

i decided i like orange better and ravefinity made a custom flat theme for me ambience flat gray
i think the blue clashes with the red peppermint icon but using gray theme i think it matches with anything
and the orange folders goes better with the red icon and the gray theme. I think the blue is too much like
mac i like the uniqueness and linxy feel to the orange :D

Well I have always find it more comfortable for my hand to move the mouse either to the top or right edges of a screen, I started using this design with elementary OS, and so it got stuck from there on

Thank you :3
