"Desktop manager is not active" [SOLVED]
« on: January 19, 2015, 06:48:00 pm »
Hi all have accidentally done something to knock out the 'desktop manager'. Have lost ability to right-click on desktop and the wallpaper no longer shows. The error msg is 'desktop manager is not active'. Can any one advise a solution? Have googled but not obvious.

Thanks!

Solved it myself. Had been making changes in the 'Default applications' setting but have now changed it back to Filemanager so panic over  :D

Yup, PCManFM (file manager) also controls the desktop, glad to see you figured it out though :)
