Google Chrome Version 36 was perfect.  Everything worked great.  Now it is no longer supported  :(.  I guess it is just another case of Wonderful Google weirdness  ;D.

I installed Lubuntu 14.10 64 bit to test a theory  :-\.   I then installed Google Chrome version 39 and after that, Peppermint's own - Ice.  I made some SSBs in Lubuntu and they also had the favicon issue that I'm experiencing in Peppermint 5.  I think the issue lies in the hands of Google  :'(.

google is evil anyway the only reason why im still tied to them is because the SSB won't integrate with firefox and netflix won't work natively
in firefox :( (netflix desktop works but is very slow and choppy).
otherwise i'd have no part in google what so ever.
