What's happening on your Ello pages, nothing from you in two months.

I finally got my invite a few days ago.  I don't have many friends on there yet, so I don't use it much.   Feel free to add me or whatever it is there. @dsplayname

I'm not sure that there is much incentive to dedicate any real time/resources to ello as a social media outlet until they fully open up.  As it is, the beta community is a broad mix of people looking to share their own content, without any real demand for finding the content of others.

Just my thoughts though.  We'll have to wait and see how it pans out

cool im @philipdawn on there seems ok someone who used to buy a lot of stuff from my small diy label a few years ago
befriended me on there. seems like its a cool place to connect with other creative people but seems more self oriented rather
than going to a specific page dedicated to a topic i was hoping more for facebook with out the ads but its a bit different but still
has promise.

I'm @good-old-music and you're right about it being mainly people sharing their own content at least in some aspects, but isn't that what social media is all about. . While it in it's infancy we can help shape it to what we want it to be.
I don't mind if no one ever listens to the music I put links to. Hey, it's not mine anyway and I get nothing for it, but it's there if anyone wants it, I just hope to brighten up the odd day.
It is mainly artists or seems that way and will stay like that until others mould it to what they want or need it to be.

My point to Peppermint I suppose is that they should still post (even ephemera) because eventually that will trickle through and gain a respectful audience.
