I'm unable to get a wireless internet connection,  message reads E 106 can you help.

Hi Rivers

Can you be a little more specific ie is you network icon showing in the panel, and is your network listed in available Networks ?

also can you post the output of

ok are you sure your inputing the correct password ?

When you log in to a network for the first time you'll be prompted for your system password (the password you log in with), then you'll be asked for the authentication key (usually found on the router)

By typing or copy/paste the command into the terminal, then copying the output and pasting it in here, but it may be irrelevant now if you have been inputing the wrong password so try that first then post back here with the result

Thank you,  I'm grateful for your input, now reloading {P3} and seems to be OK.  this my third installation of peppermint and is on a very old L/top which i like to keep going.
