I want a keyboard with a single colour backlight (preferably white) that is just ON all  the time so doesn't require ANY drivers/software (like backlit laptop keyboards) .. that shouldn't friggin be that hard to find in 2019 should it?, and yet.....

>:(

Seems the whole ferking world has gone fairy/disco lights (and hence platform specific) .. Aaaargh!!! ::)

[EDIT]

Hmm, maybe the Logitech K800

Better late then never, but my keyboard the CoolerMaster Masterkeys Pro with mecanical Cherry MX browns has only white leds. You can adjust the intensity.

Mine with my all time favorite fall wallpaper:

With the Arc dark theme (modified) and Papirus dark icons. I really liked the Pepp 9 theme, but sadly can't use it anymore on Pepp 10.

Sure, feel free to post it anywhere you like. Also I've put some links for the themes, icons, etc.
I'm currently installing pep10, and I intend to make it as  cyberpunk-ish as possible.

I kinda like them, but I'd need to get rid of those overshoot/undershoot dotted lines, brighten the text a little, and make the 'highlight' red match the folder colour a bit better (and maybe make the over/undershoot glow red) .. but a good starting point for a possible future Peppermint theme :)

Thanks for the links.

[EDIT]

Also might need to recolour the "Home" folder which looks a different shade of red to the other folders .. look in
Code: [Select]
nemo /homeand the folder with your username is a different colour .. this looks a bit odd when you have "Home" displayed on your desktop.

Hi Folks; i am "Lord Kaan", which is just a nickname, which i joice once, when i start this onlinegame; and i don 't have any idea for a name;
and Cpt. Kirk screamd on TV "Kaaaaaan";

To my Desktop:; I am "old fashioned" one; i like it "small, simple and in places, where i have quick access to them, in the way, i will need them.

So; I prefer the LXDE-Menu (One row, with opening sub-menus); there are all the things, i duno need that often
For the Design i prefer the old Peppermint6 Design (for folders/Icons etc.)

ON the Basic-Line; FireFox/Nemo/Terminal at the left; Normaly VLC and the ICon for a Graphic Programm/-Explorer, like XNView filled the rest

on the right side of the Basic LIne; i have some tools for the Turbo-Boost;
[OT]
I would, i can switch off turbo-boost; but this is all automaticly :(
At this way i could see, how much a computer works; under "same" condtions; p.e i hear, if the fance starts to run, or not
Very funny, how different same types of Computers are ;.e with the N5000 processor, and how noisy some of them[/OT]

U also see the "home"-folder - quick access (for the moment).

The "Screenshot-Tool" i normaly have on the desktop; but at PM i duno now (yet), how to create it there

So, the Icons u see on the desktop: LocalNewspapper/Gossip (to empty the brain)
The Link to an onlineGame, and also the Editor of PixLR

This are the quickStarterIcons of chrome (66), which run in a own window; which gaves me a a slim Frame of Window
Formaly (years before) i could just realize with PM (5 and 6), than chrome/Chrmium could do by their own;
meanwhile the filled the top-line with useless (for me) Info-Crap; so i use (as long as poss. 66)
No keyring, nur surplusInfo , Just a simple Frame and the content of the website

Normaly i smaller the top-Bar of this (Browser)Windows to keep it as small as poss.

This is my privat Computer, to get a clean head, after a workfull day

And !!!! It's the first time, i duno switch the Background JPG; Normaly i have a picture of a Honda  CB 1000 F Cockpit (gray Background ; and pure motorbike))

Yeah Linux Mint has those through out their theming too, having to change the theme you want in overshoot to transparent; leaving the semi-colon on the end. Even Adwaita has them too, they remind me of the competition cutout lines on cereal boxes. I don't understand why they are there in most themes? I prefer smoothness in my themes, as these dotted lines make it look weird.  ;D

Not only is Peppermint an addictive OS to use.
But so is this Forum :)
