Hi harishpathangay.  Donovan had a cool song for this:  It was called Mellow Yellow:)

Sometimes I get a yellow thing going on myself when I want to brighten my mood.  I liberated this from one of the Windows 8s, and it couldn't be happier than going native in Linux.  perknh says, let your freak flag fly!*  8)

yeah...but image of peppermint only. the background color can be changed as per users taste, mood and psyche.
my thing was to have peppermint logo and text in desktop in a very clear background.

thanks,
harish p

Playing with stock wallpapers and new lua syntax variations of conky using Gotham which needed some cleaning up which required an update to the new lua language standards. Anyway I like the overall effect. I'll post the modifications with origin info soon.

Nice !  Looks similar to the winders 10 login screen.

Er ... And, I mean that in a good way.   8)

Lovin the conky, and the offset dock (which fit with the wallpaper nicely) :)

The top screenshot is my home PC and the lower screenshot is my office PC I hate clutter and the greyness and peacefulness of both backgrounds kinda reflect my mood at this time
Why am I posting this ?
because I could and because I'm bored

Thanks perknh

Mrs perknh has a discerning eye I think they are both beautiful places, I do feel fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful small countries in the world I don't know where the top picture is but these cottages look like the perfect getaway, the lower image is Eilean Donan castle originally built in the 13th century it was once occupied by the Spanish during the first Jacobite rebellion in 1715.
