Well the instructions are as clear as mud.  Why do you have to get in contact with him for further components  :-X?  Just make them public and have done with it.  I quiet honestly, wouldn't bother with it  :-\!!

Honestly .. I didn't even read the instructions before deciding not to bother, the pic and the word Metro were enough  :o

well my other user  account is for school i thought this might be a more 'to the point' way to get my work done with out being distracted by eye candy.
I read the instructions as a new linux user it was not very clear to me in fact they may as well have been writing the info in latin because i didn't understand
a word of it hence coming here. But after the responses i think i will go ahead and abandon the idea of trying to use it.

OK, after looking at it again .. all he's offering are a few PNG images of coloured rectangles with foreign text in them.

He offers no explanation of how to use them other than suggesting GnoMenu is required .. and even suggests you'd need other components that he'll only supply by email (which would IMMEDIATELY make me security concious).

There's nothing there of any use .. simplez.

yeah im not going to bother with this one. i thought maybe it could have been a simple menu
where i could have set up only school stuff and did a simple click to get started. But i think im
going to edit the menu on my other user account to only contain school related items so i can
just log into that one and get started with out the distractions of games/music/internet etc

windows 8 is ugly anyway hahaha. now just gotta figure out how to edit the actual menu.

I've never been able to think of it as anything other than "Rectangular Spectrum"

i agree its not pretty at all to look at this is my current desktop theme im using for my main account (my other one is ONLY for school work and right
now has no theme just the default one).

but i just wanted something that i could set up more as a account only designed to be able to click on school related things
so that once im logged in im not distracted by other things so i can get to work this looked like something i thought i could
modify and use each title as a diffrent menu item to only school things right there on the desktop so all i see is school
and i dont get side tracked. I agree though very ugly interface (but for just getting school work done looks weren't even what
i was thinking about.).

thanks :D  i was going for just a classic simple look this is exactly how i wanted my interface to look on my main account.
I was going for kind of osx tiger style look with out looking exactly like it.
i kind of want my schoo user account l to be limited to only school stuff somehow im the type who gets distracted easily hahaha ill see if i can
edit the menu to only contain school stuff for that.
