[Still interested] Peppermint Phone [Still interested]
« on: September 19, 2014, 12:24:03 pm »
Hi Guys,

Since Android mostly comes from Linux, could we expect in a near future Peppermint Phone/Tablets? Is anyone in your team interested in developing such a project? I have angel investors and a mobile company who may be interested in a proposal. Peppermint, being a candy, is right up the alley with other brands such as Blackberry, Apple, etc. Think about it!  :-\

If they were ever made, I would be interested in buying one (at the right price).

I do think that developing for phones has a lot of different challenges to developing for desktops.

Check on the progress of the Firefox phone - it is doable, but it takes time.
Running Peppermint 8- 64 bit on my Lenovo i3 laptop.

Studying ubuntu's phone and having current Androids running Linux, it shouldn't be that challenging. Having personally introduced innovative mobile payment technologies, the biggest road block was our competitor; dominating 70% of the market.
