Stuck in a bash terminal.
« on: November 10, 2020, 07:57:15 pm »
I rebooted my pc. It booted into a bash terminal . There was an error wich stated "ACPI error: no handler for region[RCMO]"    i have absolutely no exsperience with anything linux. Im 40 years old and figured now would be a good time to learn. I had a pc with windows 10 that i somehow mangedto convert to this os and after about a week it booted into this and everything else seems to be fine i just dont have a desktop envirement.
I would love some help im just completely dumbfounded

This could be really bad news for you, or good news  depending on how you look at it.  See here

This is most likely your hard drive failing. Now could be a good time to get a new SSD. Good luck.
What was I thinking?
