Wayward Logitech mouse [Solved]
« on: August 22, 2020, 12:20:42 pm »
I have a G402 Logitech gaming mouse on my system. The problem is it is way too sensitive and flies all round the screen with very little input.

I've looked online and saw a post on the Ubuntu forum where entering a small piece of code cured it (I can't remember what it was) but the next time I logged on it was too sensitive again.

Is there a way to set a speed and make it permanent?

Thanks.

Hi demag,

Try using the forum's excellent collection of advice and solutions by clicking on the Search button and then entering, e.g. the search terms mouse sensitivity. There are a number of possible solutions that will pop up for you to try out. If none of them work, try using the search terms mouse speed;)

Let us know if any of the solutions solve your issue. If you still cannot find a solution then ask back here again.

Thanks Slim.

You would not believe how many times I have searched for this but never ever thought of searching for Mouse "SENSITIVITY" Doh!

I actually found the settings in the Peppermint Control Centre.

All sorted now thanks for your kind help.

Hi demag,

Super that you found a solution to your issue -- and thank you for marking the thread [SOLVED]  8)

I referred you to the Search function because I had just assumed that you had already looked through the Peppermint Control Center and nothing there had worked. My bad  :-X

I had looked many times in "Settings Panel" but not Control Centre.

Ah well you're never too old to learn. :P
